Kevin R. Carlile, MD, attended The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, and received his medical degree in 2010. Furthermore, he conducted his orthopedic surgery residency at McGaw Medical Center and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL (2010-2015). In addition, he completed his fellowship training in orthopedic trauma surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in affiliation with Drexel University and Temple University College of Medicine (2015-2016). In addition, Dr. Carlile received board certification in orthopedic surgery from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. In addition to his medical degree, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction acquired at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is a member in good standing of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Orthopedic Trauma Association, and AO Trauma. “Beyond my clinical interests, I have a passion for educating. I volunteered several times in under-served countries such as Malawi and Ghana in Africa, where I taught students, residents, and mid-level health care workers how to provide non-operative and minimally operative care in areas without access to hospitals or formally trained orthopedists”, says Dr. Carlile.
